- With an industrial production tradition dating from 1877, HESPER is today the leading manufacturer of Romania on the hydraulics apparatus, equipment and installations, with a large experience as a supplier for domestic and international markets. Our products are continuously adapted to customer needs and hydraulics market competition.
- HESPER products have a high level of processing and incorporated technology, are executed in our own production facilities of latest generation, with classic and automated machine tools, CNC machines, devices, test stands, modern laboratory equipment and measurement tools.
Investments in development, modernization and technology is a permanent concern of the leadership collective of the company.

- After 1990, the factory is transformed into a joint stock company and the old name "Steaua Rosie" changed in Hesper.
HESPER S.A. is organized into plants of production, having also workshops of heat treating and galvanic coating. It is equipped with high performance machines and laboratory apparatus.
HESPER has highly qualified specialized personnel and own departments for research-development, export and import.

- In the 50s years, begin to produce also lifting equipment for the construction industry.
In 1974 takes place an important qualitative change into production profile by starting of production of hydraulic equipment and installations, gear pumps and orbital apparatus (motors and servo-steering units) and in 1985 starting the manufacturing of vacuum pumps and equipment for nuclear power plants.

- After the war, the factory participate in rebuilding of bridges on the line Bucharest - Giurgiu and fix a significant amount of cars and locomotives.On interwar time Romania becomes exporter of petroleum products.
- The plant execute mostly of the export facility necessary to new stations built by the State and facilities for private oil companies: 41 tanks of 5000 m, 25 km pipeline, 300 sqm of steam boilers, high capacity crane, others.

- During 1915-1916, production returns at orders for the army, being focused on pontoons, parts for guns and howitzers, ovens for disinfection, various pyrotechnic systems and equipment for the Army.
- During the First World War when, in 1916, in Bucharest industries evacuation becomes necessary, it is the only plant that supports the war effort at full capacity, establishing the necessary machinery in Iasi and constantly supporting the front with arms.

- In 1906 - 1907, the plant builds the bridge from Topolnita, the first private industry from the Kingdom which designs and builds entirely a railway bridge. Also during this period factories producing central heating installations for industrial buildings and civil buildings for most of the state.
At the end of this period, in 1912, the year of publication of the new law to encourage industry, factory reaches a total of 500 employees.

- Founded in 1877 in first stage, the factory produced warheads necessary for the army, using machines brought from abroad.
- Production is gradually becoming more diverse, around 1900, the plant producing, for example, girders and beams to extend the Peles Castle, in collaboration with contractor Pietro Axerio and probably at the command of Karel Liman, the architect of the Royal House in that era.
