Gear pumps

- Nom press: nominal pressure for which, continous running, life time and volumetric efficiency are garanted;
- Max press: maximum pressure at which the pumps can intermittently work (max. 20s); average pressure should be lower than nominal pressure.
- Pressure peaks, in comutation, can be 20 bar higher as maximum pressure.
- Volumetric efficiency ηvn is guaranted in nominal conditions and viscosoty 30.....40 cSt.
- The characteristics mentioned above are valid also for double pumps (for every stage).
- At request, can be manufactured:
     - pumps with other displacements.
     - pumps with:
        a. valve with external return (to the tank)
        b. valve with internal return (to the inlet port).
        c. flow control valve with external return.
        d. flow control valve with internal return.
- For n>1500 rev/min, P<1 500 000 / (Vg x nef)
- Functioning at high speed, without cavitation, it is possible only with an enough large inlet.
- The inlet pressure should not decrease under 0,7 bar absolute.

    Description and use

Our HP gear pumps are classified in four dimensional groups. These are simple, double or multiple irreversible pumps, with constant geometrical volume. The velocity of the fluid to inlet ports has to be to above 2.5 m/s and in this case all the pumps can work continuously with an inlet pressure between (-0.2) and (0.5) bar and the outlet pressure conforming with the prospectus. On demand, the pumps can be equipped with pressure or priority flow regulators. Are used in hydraulic installation or power packs and for the hydrostatic circuits of agricultural machines, heavy-duty machines, machines-tools, others.

    Pump mounting

There are a lot of constructive variants depending to the type of coupling, fixing flange, inlet and outlet flanges, conforming the codification from technical prospectus.
The picture presents the inlet and outlet ports depending to the pump rotation.

The coupling system must not impose axial or radial forces on the extreme of the shaft and must transmit the driving moment. The pump revolution sense must be in concordance with the motor rotation. After the pump assembly on the installation, first of starting the motor, free turning must be verified.

    Working fluid

Only mineral-based oil must be used, that could keep the viscosity characteristics. During working time, the viscosity must be higher then 15 cSt; the optimum working viscosity is between 25 and 100 cSt; it must be not more then 250 cSt. For a limited time at cool start could be admitted a 2000 cSt viscosity. The filtration fineness of the hydraulic oil is 30 µm with an impurity concentration under 0,05 %; there are not admitted abrasive particles.

    Operating temperature

The pumps are destined for a continuously working conditions between (-10) and (80) ° C.
It is admitted the start at (-15) ° C.
